My name is Anusha Ganesh, and I am a sernior Texas Academy of Math and
Science student. At TAMS, we have organized a club called FACEs
(Fellowship for the Advancement of Cultural Education) and we are
hosting and event called Club Remix. It is on Thursday February 15,
2006 at 8:00, and it is an event in which we have teachers teach all
kinds of cultural dances. One of the dances we would like to introduce
to UNT students in Garba, the gujrati folk dance. Our senior team was
hoping that IPSA would have maybe 2 or 3 students who would be
interested in teaching garba on that night. You will be asked to teach
for like 10 minutes, and bring extra music so everyone can enjoy
dancing it for another 20 minutes or so. If you have students who would
be able to attend and teach the participants, I would like to get in
contact with you over the next week and let you know more details.
