Cammy's Corner
The Wesley Center was built to
be a gathering place for university students to continue their Christian walk.
Each day the doors open at 8:00am to host the early morning studier, offer a
place of prayer and eat breakfast on the run. Students find the lounge to be a
place to greet friends, new and old and to occasionally play a game of pool,
ping pong or a song on the piano. Small groups meet daily to study, and discuss
Bible, faith, theology and life. The music ministry at the Wesley Center is
great. Students have opportunities to sing in the band, our traveling choir or
simply sing on Tuesday nights in worship. Worship is a community experience
where we celebrate birthdays, sing praise songs and offer prayers for one
another. Students are highly involved in leading worship and in all areas of The
Wesley Foundation Ministry. We are an outreaching organization who care about
the needs of our world and seek to serve God’s people. Mission weekends, and
week long trips are an important part of our life together. I’m the Campus
Minister and I love my job! I look forward to being a part of the life and
ministry of every student who walks in the doors. So come by and introduce your
self to me. I will pray with you, listen to you and help connect you to new
friends.
