What are the requirements for membership?
To be a national member, you must have completed the first semester of your second term in a four year curriculum or equivalent.

Are you a professional fraternity?
Absolutely not! We are an honor society, which means that you do not have to go through rush week or be a pledge in order to join. You can join as an associate member at any time you want to.

What if I don't have the grades to join?
Fear not! If you do not meet any of the requirements for membership, you can always join as an associate member. Also see the queston below.

Will joining the society improve my grades?
While joining Tri-Beta will not add any points to your GPA by any means, joining has its share of benefits. Tri-Beta is a great way to network with upper classmen and get help as needed.

Do I have to be a biology major to join?
All you need is an interest in biology! Anyone can join as an associate member!
