In this 1975 classic, a young couple gets stranded outside of a creepy castle with some interesting inhabitants. Audience participation is strongly encouraged.

The event begins with a costume contest on October 25, 2007 at 11:30 pm in the Lyceum, third floor of the union. $5.00 at the door. Participation bags on sale for $2 or free with 2 canned food items. Proceeds go to AIDS Services of North Texas.

Members will serve 300 hours over the course of a 10-11 week term, beginning May 31, 2007 and ending mid-August. Members receive a stipend of $1,800 and an end of term education award of $1,000.

The informational flyer and summer application are avaliable on our Yahoo Groups page; this may be filled out electronically and emailed or completed manually and faxed or mailed to AmeriCorps by the application deadline May 12, 2007.

Diana Washington Valdez, considered a foremost expert on the Juarez femicides, Mexican politics, and the drug trade, will be the keynote speaker. Hip Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes screening, hosted by MAV
