Board of Directors
The Board of Directors (BOD) is responsible for the oversight, planning, and implementation of all SIG committees. Each Committee Chair regularly presents their plans and progress with the Board throughout each semester. The Board of Directors is comprised of 7 members who have served at least 2 previous semesters within other SIG committees. Members of the board are students with a strong understanding in finance and accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a willingness to lead others.
Each semester, members of the Board graduate and move on to their professional careers. Serving on the Board has proven to be a substantial benefit in the experience of these individuals and is directly shown in the level of career placement they receive. As positions open on the Board, we look to fill them with the best and brightest members of SIG.
