The Accounting Committee

The Accounting Committee (AC) is comprised of students majoring or with an interest in corporate finance and accounting. This committee applies basic accounting principles learned in class to real life organizations and transactions. With a substantially growing demand for professionals in the accounting field, this committee will provide the expertise and qualifications necessary for your first job. The Accounting Committee is responsible for:

  • Maintain records of all buys, sells, and holds of Financial Assets
  • Treasury and comptroller functions
  • Reconcile all quarterly and annual brokerage statements
  • Provide quarterly and annual reports through each semester
  • Conitinually develop professinal Quarterly and Annual reports to be displayed on the Website and for the interested public
  • Create and maintain accounting committee policy and procedure manuals
