The Student Investment Group (SIG) is a student operated money management organization based in the University of North Texas' College of Business Administration. The mission of SIG is to provide real world financial investment education to both graduate and undergraduate students of any major or classification. The goal of SIG is to build our base portfolio to a principal amount of $1,000,000, of which additional earnings will be awarded to SIG members as scholarships!

Redefining Investment Strategy Education IX
SIG will be attending the Redefining Investment Strategy Education conference in March of '09. We are seeking funding to take up to 10 students again! SIG Senior Analysts received Scholarships!
Anthony Bassili, Addison Tackaberry, Khaled Mustafa, and Adam Murray have each received (CFA) Chartered Financial Analyst Sponsored scholarships to take the level I exam in June 2008! Head over to the Portfolio Management Committee page for more details.
