The Student Investment Group (SIG) is a student-operated money management organization based in the University of North Texas' College of Business Administration. The mission of SIG is to provide real world financial investment education to both graduate and undergraduate students of any major or classification. The goal of SIG is to build our base portfolio to a principal amount of $1,000,000, of which additional earnings will be awarded to SIG members as scholarships!



Redefining Investment Strategy Education X

SIG will be attending the Redefining Investment Strategy Education conference in March of '10. We are seeking funding to take up to 10 students again! If you or your company would like to partner with SIG and provide donations, please contact James Spoonts. R.I.S.E X will be held from March 18th - 20th. Go to the R.I.S.E website and learn more about the world's largest strategic investment conference!


CFA® Program Scholarships Offered by UNT

The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) Program is a respected, graduate-level program for investment professionals. Three UNT professors each give out five scholarships per year, yielding a total of fifteen possible scholarships available for UNT students. Contact SIG for more information!
