President:

Rachel Ronque

Duties: The President acts as chairperson of the Executive Officer Board, presides over all meetings of the chapter, calls executive meetings when needed, shall be an ex-officio member of all committees except the nominating committee, generates and updates the chapter mission statement and annual goals/objectives, appoints chairpersons for standing and temporary committees, works closely with the chapter advisors in establishing projects, demonstrates leadership in all chapter projects, acts as liaison between the national organization and the student chapter, and stays current on developments in the field.


 



Vice President:

Levi Campbell

Duties: The Vice President splits duties with the President and presides over meetings and events in absence of the President, keeps records of the proceedings at all chapter and executive meetings, keeps non-financial records of all chapter projects and their outcomes, and works closely with the Directors of Merit, Online Maintenance,  Marketing and Recruitment, and Finance.


 




Vice President of Programs:

Mariya Gavrilova

Duties: The Vice President of Programs contacts businesses to build relationships between professionals and UNT SHRM, coordinates speakers for meetings, assists with mentoring programs, company visits, and job shadowing opportunities. The Vice President of Programs works closely with the Mentoring Coordinator, Job Shadowing Coordinator.
 
 

 



Vice President of Events Coordination

Chrissie Rogers

Duties:  The Vice President of Events Coordination organizes opportunities for businesses to support SHRM activities, works with the food budget from Department of Management and orders pizza for general meetings, sets up area for refreshments, works very closely with faculty advisors to plan for the HR games, and solicits local companies to become sponsors to provide support either monetarily or otherwise. The Vice President of Events Coordination works closely with the Directors of Community Service and Fundraising.

 



Director of Online Maintenance:

Duties: The Director of Online Maintenance creates and maintains the website, keeping it current with any updates, manages and distributes any incoming requests for information and/or membership questions, keeps members and officers updated continuously as well as checking and maintaining the UNT SHRM email account. The Director of Online Maintenance works closely with the Vice President.

 

 



Director of Merit:

Sharmeen Aziz

Duties: The Director of Merit maintains records for all the activities and events that receive merit awards from the National Society for Human Resource Management. This person also helps to boost the recognition of the UNT Chapter statewide and nationally by reporting all events associated with the chapter. The Director of Merit works closely with the Vice President.

 

 



Director of Finance:

Jaazlynne McGill

Duties: The Vice President of Finance maintains and manages the chapter account, collects and deposits member dues and donations, writes checks for activities and reimbursements, writes and maintains officer budgets, sends National SHRM member dues and paperwork, ensures that members are paid in full, collects and distributes all chapter funds, updates the member list regularly, keeps the attendance roster, and ensures member-only voting. The Director of Finance works closely with the Vice President.
 

 



Mentoring Coordinator

Ashwini Joshua

Duties:  The Mentoring Coordinator confirms that all proper paperwork is completed in-full, on time, and up-to-date, contacts and informs potential mentors about UNT SHRM's Mentoring Program, contacts potential mentors to arrange a meeting with a student, assists UNT SHRM members with any help they need in arranging a mentor, informs the Vice President of Programs of any developments regarding new mentor opportunities, continuously communicates with the Vice President of Programs regarding any current mentor partnerships, follows up with the mentor and protégés to gain insight into any improvements that may need to be made, and keeps up-to-date records of all correspondences for future UNT SHRM Mentoring Officers. The Mentoring Coordinator works closely with the Vice President of Programs.


 




Director of Community Relations

The Director of Community Service finds and helps organize community service projects by contacting services within the community and through UNT, fills the cooler with drinks and ice and brings the cooler to and from meetings. The Director of Community Service works closely with the Vice President of Events Coordination.  


 



Director of Fundraising

Duties: The Director of Fundraising is in charge of directing activities to raise money to help UNT SHRM, prepares the gifts for the speaker at every meeting, and works closely with the Vice President of Events Coordination.
