The Roswell Campaign
The rpg was Whitewolf's Vampire: the Masquerade. Jeremy was the storyteller. The chronicle unravelled over 8 sessions. More background to be filled in as it becomes avalable
Sessions
Night 1: Introduction
Celestian, Syrina, and Eva were embraced, learned of their clan, the Gangrels, and of the politics of the kindred. They met Kled, who was to be their contact and were given a task.
Night 2: Sinister Appearance
On the second night the troupe met Korse, their second contact.
In the park, they were jumped by four Brujah punks. Syrina, who had yet
to shed her sense of mortality, hid behind a park bench. Korse however
lashed out at the leader with his telekinetic powers, popping one's eyes
out. He then smashed the second Brujah over the head with a large psychic
pipe, cracking his head open.
Gmoney(an npc) cratered a third Brujah's chest with his Desert Eagle. Eva
was wounded in the struggle when one of the hoods pulled a knife, but she
managed to kill here attacker. When it was all over, Gmoney burned the
victims, The troupe managed to escape before the arrival of the police,
and dawn.
Night 3: Insanity and Interrogation
xstormtrooperx, Radu, and Angel joined the troupe. Kled introduced
them to the others and gave them a crystal which had powers of communication.
The troupe heard strange rumors about a secret base in Roswell and it's
involvement with the Sabbat. The troupe was encouraged to investigate.
The troupe waited outside the door of a Brujah rack, while Celestian went
inside and smashed one the Brujah over the head witha bottle. The npc,
who was reffered to as "Madder than Hell", chased her outside,
running right into the waiting arms of the troupe. Korse quickly dispatched
Madder than hell with A strange Wooden Trident he materialzed. After being
impaled, he was put into the trunk of Korse's car and driven to Korse's
lair. Korse and Radu proceeded to crucify Madder than Hell to the floor
with a nail gun. The Intterogation was not going so well, so Korse burned
Madder than Hell's foot off with propane torch. Korse also used the Bone
of Lies on the Brujah prisoner but he still wouldn't talk. So the troupe
left him to wait in the sunlit guest room until dawn.
Night 4: Planning the Assault
The troupe is introduced to Kyla who was sent by Kled to assist.
There is another interrogation and "cruxification" (a popular
activity), from which the troupe learns about a Brujah stronghold in Santa
Fe. They then began planning the attack.
Night 5: The Assault
The troupe began conducting reconnaisance of the base and making
detailed plans. After jumping and killing a Brujah, Gmoney rigged him with
explosives, and Korse used his mental powers to make his puppet walk down
the stairs and detonate in the middle of the convention. Radu, Korse, xstormtrooperx,
and Eva stormed the building. The rest of the troupe waited outside for
any resistance. Inside Radu was the front man, xstormtrooperx went next,
Gmoney, then Korse and Eva. A burning Brujah came barrelling up the stairs
and Gmoney blew a smoking hole in his head. Radu rushed downstairs and
met two Brujah assailants, nicknamed the uzi brothers. Radu opened up with
his shotgun, but it jammed and he was punctured witha hail of bullets.
xstormtrooperx and gmoney came next, opened fire, but to no effect. So
x broke a table leg and bashed some skulls (he he he, a favorite move
of mine). Gmoney mowed the other one down. Korse administered blood
capsules to Radu, and he survived. Then the old man came out, possibly
an elder.
The old man dominated Radu and x but Korse resisted and hurled wooden splinters
from the broken table at the elder with his telekinetics. After impaling
him, xstormtrooperx made a "Chewbacca backpack" out of the elder
and they were ready to go. Outside, the rest of the troupe waited for the
city police and firemen and ambushed them. They shot a few police and smashed
a few firemen with their own truck. Angel smbushed a fireman outside the
building, by spraying him with an Mp5 assault rifle. They took the elder
back to the crucification room and gave him the treatment. He told them
about the Roswell base, and how it was a training ground for the Sabbat,
and how the Brujah were recruiting for them. The troupe returned to the
hotel and retrieved documents outlining the base and its contents. the
Elder was drained and Korse, x, Radu and Celestian were then given mighty
powers. X also made himself a social deviant by making him a coat of human
skin, a necklace of eyes and teeth, ribcage armor, and cat eyes and long
hair with dreadlocks. Korse gave himself black orb eyes and the curse of
cain.
Night 6: The Final Chapter-they made their way to the roswell base. rigged a truck with an oklahoma bomb and had it waiting outside the fence to save the day. *note:francisco took over xstormtrooperx* they went to the hangar, a mechanic was killed, and x with his bruce lee jeet kun do moves, broke all the flight sticks. inside the base were korse, x, radu, and celestian, the rest were outside. they proceeded to the ammo dump, where celestian tried to drop on a guard with her katana, botched, and fell into his lap. that starlted the guard,and celestian tried to crush his larlnx with her thumbs, botched again, and jammed her thumbs hard enough to break them. he whipped out his knife and stabbed her once, then twice and korse saved the day by slamming him in the brick wall with telekenitcs. the troupe heard the resounding crack of his skull breaking. radu and korse then stealthly creeped into the main complex. they killed the communication people by crushing them between their chairs and the brick ceiling via telekinesis again. the rest of the troupe killed the front guard and they came in. korse and radu torched the comm and the computer room, while the rest of the troupe raided the arsenal in the complex. kyla picked up a grenade launcher and eva and radu got heavy assualt rifles. on the second floor, they had to pass thru officers quarters. gmoney and lyn blew up the generators and the power plant for the base, trrowing the entire base into darkness. as the troupe slid thru the darkness of the hallways in the complex, kyla launched a grenade into the officers quarters. only three survived the blast, ran out firing blindly, and died in a monstrous hail of assualt rifle bullets. a few seconds later, a dazed guard came feeling down the hallway yelling “what the hell is going on???” and x ran up and punched him in the nards so hard that it broke his pelvis just short of killing him. he laid on the ground screaming while the troupe rushed by him. they found the secret elevator, running on god knows what power, and found themselves in a large, open room. then they were ambushed. korse lost his powers to a skill of arcane power, unknown to any in the troupe. the troupe became disheartened, as their most powerful ally was useless. kled apperared, and the elders gave them an ultimatium,while 50 sabbat mercs surrounded them. kled vanished, and the ultimatium was join the sabbat, die, or get away by doing a job for them. most took the job, an assassination of a camirilla politican, but x did not. he decided to fight in the arena for his freedom. his adversaries, an assimite and two brujah thugs. the arena was nicknamed the thunderdome, and looked like it too. the assimite and x went at it, while every one else watched. x picked up a pair of nunchucks and proceeded to whip the asimites ass. x scored first with a flip and a double strike on the assimite’s head. the assimite lunged at him with a death touch but missed. the assimite then dissappeared. the brujah thugs were laughing the whole time until x ran up, kicked one in the knee and broke it, and slapped the other one to death with the nunchucks. the assimite reappeared, cast a silence spell over the arena, and lunged again at x. x dodged and slapped the assimite again and again. he finally killed the assimite and was released from the thunderdome. everyone agreed to take the job and were released. kled met up with them and explained the situation, gave korse all his power, and apologized for the lies. the chronice continues.......
