We’ve got the go-ahead from the DuncanDay agency to come and visit them tomorrow morning. They would like us all to be there at 10am (show up by 9:45 if possible please) They are a fabulous woman-ran agency with at 23 year history.

Congratulations go to all of you for helping Advertising Club become the winner of Public House’s Host with the Most Mixer costetst last Friday. We’ve gotten an $100 gift certificate and will be using for a future social events.

Reminders are that the Host with the Most Mixer on Friday will be after the Bonfire at Public House from 4PM to 7PM. For Homecoming on Saturday – need list of people interested in setting up/sitting at booth for Ad Club will meet Thursday evening to plan. E-mail our secretary Amanda, secretary@NorthTexasAdvertising.com to sign up for a time between 1 to 6PM.

Emergency Contact sheets, waiver and the refundable deposit are due by Friday.

Ad Club has set up a fabulous trip to Austin this October, we are hoping to get to as many agencies as possible and have a really great time too. So far we are going to GSD&M and Sicola Martin, we have many other agencies in progress and we’ll keep making updates! Be sure if you are a member to sign up on orgsync as soon as possible. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Remember that those members interested in being apart of the Balcom agency visit this Friday must register online through OrgSync by 12:55PM Thursday Night Oct 8th. All resume book submissions should be emailed to info@NorthTexasAdvertising.com by midnight thursday night.

Hello Everyone!

I hope that you all have had a lovely summer and are enjoying your classes thus far. I wanted to go ahead and make a few things clear as soon as possible so there is no confusion.

First of all, we will NOT be having our first meeting tomorrow. The Student Activities Office is still delegating room assignments and we are still waiting on ours (although we should be finding it out very soon).

Secondly, we will be having two introductory meetings that all potential members are strongly encouraged to attend. One will be on Tuesday, September 8th, and the second on Wednesday September 9th. Both of them will begin at 5:00 and will probably last until 5:30 or so (although normal meeting time will run 5-6).

The Executive Board has been hard at work this summer and I know we are all looking forward to meeting you next week!

Come out again for the NTAC Ihop fun!! North Texas Advertising would love to see you guys there on the first day of classes, August 27, to start the day right!

Fluffy pancakes before class or after you have finished your first hard day of classes is a great idea, especially if you love ihop as much as we do!!

So come out (from 8AM to 4PM) and enjoy great food while helping us out too!

Don’t worry if you haven’t met us yet. There is still one activity mart left on August the 19th for freshman. You can meet us and get some candy and information.

If you’re not a freshmen or you missed us at your activity mart, don’t worry. Advertising Club is participating in First Flight Week at Mean Green Fling on August 26th which is open to everybody at UNT. We’ll be running a carnival booth were you’ll have an opportunity to win a prize and chat with us.

The day after, we’re got our third IHOP fundraiser. It’s the same as last time come out from 8 AM till 4 PM and have some pancakes before you go to class. 10% of the money made will go towards helping North Texas Advertising.
