I am from Baytown, which is near Galveston, Texas. I graduated from Baylor University in the Spring of 2006 with a B.A. in English literature and minors in both French and music. I then moved to Lewisville for graduate school. I started the SLIS program in August of 2006 with the aspiration of becoming an academic librarian. I currently am a library assistant at the UNT Dallas campus where I love helping students and faculty members learn to access library services and conduct successful research for classes while gaining valuable experience in an academic environment.

In my time outside of work and school I like to ride horses and spend time with my two dogs.
