LISSA Meeting Minutes
January 25, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 5:10 pm. The following members attended:

Dr. Yvonne Chandler

Business:

1. Attendees introduced themselves.

2. Tote bag options were discussed. Attendees would rather pay more for a large, sturdy, flat-bottomed bag than pay a lower price for a lower quality bag.

3. All School Day topics and dates were discussed. The topic for the event is different types of librarians from different types of libraries. The planned date is April 21. Students would like to see faculty more involved and sponsor a speaker in their field. The plan for this All School Day is to use multiple rooms with multiple sessions going at once. Sessions will be set up like round table discussions.

4. Guest speakers for online chats were discussed. Students may email Adrianne Jones at ajones@lis.admin.unt.edu with names of speakers they would like to hear.

The meeting was adjourned at 7 pm. Pizza was served.
