The KKI Chapter at TWU/UNT was established in the fall of 1996 with the assistance of KKI’s from Southern Methodist University, South West Texas and Paul Quinn college. The Charter line of 27 distinguished young women were initiated on October 24, 1996. The members of the charter line were:
