Loyalty Fund

The Loyalty Fund is the endowment fund of the Fraternity. It was established in 1926 to provide monies for low-cost mortgage loans to house corporations of chapters for acquiring, building, enlarging or remodeling their shelters. Assests of the Loyalty Fund total $3.8 million. Of this total, approximately $3.4 million is loaned or committed to house corporations. Since 1926, more than 260 Loyalty Fund loans have been made with a total value of $10 million.

Centennial Development Fund

Initially established by donations from alumni marking the one hundredth anniversary of the Fraternity in 1958, and subsequently funded by allocation of $5 of the initiation dues to this Fund, assets now total over $500 thousand. The policy is to make loan monies available from this Fund to help younger chapters finance the acquisition of houses--chapters which have not had the opportunity to develop adequate equity capital toward the purchase of a house but which have proved themselves deserving.

Annual Delt Fund

As a result of the expressed desire of many alumni to participate in the Fraternity's growth and progress, the Alumni Contribution Program was established in 1967. Thousands of alumni, through their annual contributions, have demonstrated their continued interest in the Fraternity, and through their gifts have helped the Fraternity provide additional new programs each year which would not have otherwise been possible.

Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation

The Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation was established in 1981 by the late Al Sheriff, Washington and Jefferson '49. It provides Delt alumni and friends the opportunity to financially participate and give back to the Fraternity through the Annual Delt fund and, more recently, through The Campaign for Delta Tau Delta. All gifts are fully deductible for income and estate tax purposes, but more importantly, they greatly assist undergraduate Delts by underwriting many vital educational and leadership development programs.
