My name is Jason and I am a Business student
attending the University of North Texas.
Shortly before transferring to UNT from another university, I received
the free gift of salvation from our precious Lord. Upon arriving at UNT
I was in a desperate search for direction in my Christian life. Early in
my first semester, I signed up for a Bible study with the Christian
Students Organization. Not long after I started participating in these
Bible studies, I had the realization that I had found not only direction
in my Christian life but rivers of living water (John 7:38). For the
first time, the Bible was opened up to me in spirit and truthfulness
(John 4:23), and through the small group Bible studies, Christ was
unveiled in my human spirit. No one had ever told me the secret: Christ
lives in me...in my spirit. I already knew about my flesh and my soul.
Now I know about my spirit which is even deeper than my soul. I can
testify that I have found the secret to the overcoming Christian life!
Its Christ in my spirit!!
Without the fellowship
I found in Christian Students, I am afraid the Bible would still be mere
black and white words for vain self-improvement. However, the Bible to
me is now living and operative! (Hebrews 4:12). Christ is the Word! The
entire divine revelation from the books of Genesis to Revelation reveal
just one wonderful person: Christ!
