New Committee Chairs discussed activities (Professional Development, Community Service, and Socials)

• Discussed what we needed from members

1.      Need resumes for resume books

2.      Need to know if attending KDB Event on October 22^nd

3.      Need organizations you would like to see at career fair in the spring

3.      Officer Reports:

Monica- Attending Public Administration Advisory Board (PAAB) Meeting November 11^th    

              to discuss future mentor program between students and alumni, as well as public

  sector career fair.  (I will be sending out a questionnaire to each of our students

  regarding the mentor/mentee program by the end of October.  Please take time

  to respond, so we  know what your mentor needs.)

4.   Old Business:

Resumes are due tomorrow, October 18^th for full-time positions and internships!  These will be placed in two separate books as our programs table at the TML Conference.  Send to me at mheath@unt.edu, or Janay Tieken at jtieken@unt.edu.

·    Still need list of contact info for employers you want at the career fair. (Full-Time or Internship Positions)  Last day for this is November 27^th!
