WHAT IS PASA?
Mission:
PASA seeks to create a network of UNT students interested in good governance, and to further enhance the educational experience of the students in the Department of Public Administration by offering links to the public administration work environment.
WHY JOIN PASA?
There are multiple reasons why you should join this student organization, below is a list of benefits:
The opportunity to network with fellow students, area employers, and alumni of the UNT MPA Program:
Internal Networking
Internal networking through social events found throughout the surrounding DFW Metroplex are an excellent way for students to build relationships with each other outside of the classroom.
External Networking
External networking with other public organizations through community services events and professional development activities found throughout the Metroplex.
A PASA list serve, allowing members to communicate with other students on current projects in the academic environment.
Monthly meetings to voice suggestions for the department and offer idea for future PASA activities.
HOW DO I JOIN?
In order to be a member of PASA you must be a UNT student, undergraduate or graduate, interested in a career in public or non-profit management. In addition, you should do the following:
Complete a "Registration Form" located in the MPA office in Wooten Hall, Room 366
Pay membership dues to treasurer or leave in MPA office with receptionist
Membership dues are only $20 a full academic year, or $10 per semester. It is that easy and inexpensive!!!
PASA accepts cash and checks. Please write checks out to PASA.
